Dear customer,

Thank you for purchasing a W. GABUS Transmatic Regulator watch.

Following the watchmaking traditions of Louis William Gabus, one of the three largest watch manufacturers in the Russian Empire from the late nineteenth century, we are committed to high standards of watchmaking.

Your W. GABUS Transmatic Regulator is powered by the high-grade Swiss La Joux-Perret 3850 calibre, developed for W. GABUS watches by the La Joux-Perret manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The watch was designed in Russia, including its original toboggan case with a hinged, movable strap attachment. The case was manufactured in Switzerland. The distinctive construction of the toboggan case ensures a comfortable fit on wrists of different sizes.

The guilloché dial, crafted by Swiss artisans and finished with mother-of-pearl and raised numerals, reflects a high level of craftsmanship. Blued hands complete its appearance.

An Italian-made Louisiana alligator leather strap adds to the watch’s refinement, while a folding clasp ensures comfortable wear.

The watch was manufactured and underwent quality control in Switzerland.

About watch winders

W. GABUS strongly advises against storing the watch in an automatic watch winder. According to the company, many such devices have not been adequately tested, and their use may cause premature movement wear or damage. If you wear the watch infrequently, W. GABUS recommends winding it by hand once every two weeks with 5–10 turns of the crown to keep the movement lubricated.

Warranty terms

Since 1868, W. GABUS has stood behind the quality and reliability of its watches. The manufacturer’s warranty is confirmed by the warranty card, which records the model, reference, serial number and date of sale. It covers faults that are not caused by improper use.

W. GABUS watches are classic timepieces and should be handled with care. Avoid physical impacts, exposure to chemicals and moisture. Damage resulting from misuse includes mechanical damage, signs of use, impacts or falls that damage the movement or exterior components, and moisture entering the case. Normal wear of the leather strap is not covered by the warranty.

Warranty period: two years from the date of sale stated on the warranty card.
