The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2026 has published its list of nominees. The annual international competition includes brands such as Audemars Piguet, Blancpain, Girard-Perregaux, Ulysse Nardin, Bvlgari, Chopard, IWC, Grand Seiko, Piaget, Franck Muller, Arnold & Son, H. Moser and Jacob & Co.

W. GABUS Transmatic Power Reserve, previously named “Best Russian Watch 2025,” is taking part in this prestigious competition.

Alltime described the Moscow-made model as an elegant watch in a rectangular stainless steel case with a La Joux-Perret 3513 movement, large date and power reserve indicator. Its vintage Art Deco design suits a brand whose history dates back to 1868.

The Best Russian Watch 2025 awards have been announced. The ceremony was held on the opening day of Moscow Watch Expo, which began on October 8.

W. GABUS Transmatic Power Reserve won the Heritage category following a nationwide public vote and the jury’s expert assessment.

The launch of the new W. GABUS Transmatic Power Reserve took place in a festive atmosphere at the Museum of Time and Clocks. Company director Nikita Yeshkov and designer and engineer Nail Zhamaletdinov introduced the watch, its design and the complications of the Swiss La Joux-Perret 3513 caliber: a large date and a power reserve indicator. They also discussed production and the company’s plans.

We thank our guests for their interest in W. GABUS watchmaking and their warm reception of the new model. Visitors particularly noted its design and complications, our quality standards, four days of testing for every watch in our laboratory, its strong accuracy results and the included electronic card with access to the watch’s test data.

Special thanks to the museum team and its director, Leonid Vladimirovich Evropeytsev, for helping organize the event.

W. GABUS will present its new watch on June 19, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at the Museum of Time and Clocks.

W. GABUS took part in the annual international Moscow Watch Expo 2024.

At our stand, we presented the current W. GABUS collection and spoke with visitors about upcoming plans and new watch collections.

To mark 155 years of W. GABUS watchmaking, the Museum of Time and Clocks in Moscow hosted an exhibition of historic and contemporary W. GABUS watches.
